Shezlina Haji, MAShezlina creates a safe and caring environment for her clients to voice their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Challenges and suffering are a part of everyone’s journey and Shezlina is able to help clients understand and utilize their emotions as tools for growth to live full and meaningful lives. Since she believes effective change occurs when a strong therapeutic relationship is built, she checks-in regularly to ensure that client’s needs are being met and will adjust her treatment plan based upon client’s goals and desired outcomes.

Shezlina uses an eclectic approach to counselling but primarily draws from Emotion Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. She understands the need to tailor treatment plans to each individuals’ needs and is therefore able to take a holistic approach and incorporate all aspects of an individual’s life including spirituality if desired.

Shezlina has several daytime and evening appointments available. She recognizes that taking the first step into counselling can be difficult, and even more difficult to find the right therapist. As such, she offers a free 20 minute consultation to help clients determine if her approach is a good fit.
